Jazmyne Beverly

Jazmyne Beverly is the Assistant Principal at Mildred Osborne Charter School. In this role, she coaches Instructional Leaders at Osborne on data driven instruction, observation feedback, tier 1 curriculum implementation, and professional development. She also works closely with the principal and fellow directors to reinforce school wide culture and academic expectations to align to the vision and mission of Mildred Osborne.
Jazmyne is a New Orleans native and she attended Warren Easton Fundamental Senior High School as well as New Orleans Center for Science and Math. She graduated from both institutions in 2005. Jazmyne holds a degree in Elementary Education,B.A. from Xavier University of New Orleans as well as a degree in Educational Leadership. M.Ed. from Louisiana State University. She started working in the public school system in 2010. She has worked in Orleans and Jefferson Parish schools, teaching in grades 1st-6th. Jazmyne received the “Teacher of the Year” award in 2016 from Jefferson Parish for her academic growth with her students. Jazmyne has always had a passion for Mathematics since she was a student in school. When she decided to leave the classroom, she started her leadership career coaching Math high school teachers. She has coached teachers from grades PK-12th.
Jazmyne joined Crescent City Schools in 2016. She has been a teacher, middle school team leader, Instructional dean, and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at several schools in the network. Jazmyne has always had a passion for teaching scholars, growing teachers and bringing joy to school through learning. She believes ALL children deserve an education that prepares them to succeed in the future.
